Humanity overtakes hate campaign on Kerala
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the Kerala's flood relief fund drive is getting overwhelming response from all kind hearts across the world. Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund has so far received ₹309Crore. This is in addition to the pledge for a financial aid of ₹160 Crore. All of these include the amount deposited in account, deposits made through cheques and drafts. As of today, the total amount recieved through the online payment portal (https://donation.cmdrf.kerala.gov.in/ ) has crossed ₹87 Crores, as of 20th August 2018.
Over 262 k people have made online contributions through this website during the last eight days. Seven payment gateways facilitating payments from accounts in 57 banks and by using four UPIs and international credit and debit cards have been integrated with this. The technical team is in the process of integrating a few more international payment gateways and aggregators to make faster payments in international currencies from outside India.
