Akkineni Nagarjuna is one of the top A-list actors in Telugu cinema. While the star has refrained from making any comments about his next film, we hear that he will be teaming up with director Teja, whose last film ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ received critical applause for its unique plot and good narration.
Teja had opted out of two projects - NTR biopic and a Venkatesh starrer due to unknown reasons. He had apparently impressed Nagarjuna with a script and the movie is likely to take off soon. The film will be bankrolled mostly by Akkineni Nagarjuna under his home banner Annapurna Studios.
After a long gap, Teja came to the spotlight with the mega-hit film ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’, which featured Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is awaiting the release of ‘Officer', directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
